THE ROC SUP CLASSIC

10:00am SAT 13th MAY


Welcome to a classic SUP race that will test your strength, balance and agility round the 1.5km ROC swim course in Abersoch Bay.

Starting on the beach, you’ll run down to your board, ankle strap on, grab your paddle and head out  between the orange ZONE3 buoys and round the 6 large yellow buoys that mark out the 1.5km course. Back through the orange ZONE3 Buoys to the shore. Remove your leash and run to the finish line and enjoy the euphoria and your flowerleis!

£5 from every entry goes to the MOVE Against Cancer charity, the official charity of THE ROC

STAY SAFE


MINIMUM AGE: 12 on day of race

PADDLEBOARDS: These are not provided as part of your entry and must be arranged by the participant. Board, oar and leash.

RUN: You will run a short distance from THE ROC start line down to the waters edge where your board will be waiting. Then the same when you return, running up the beach to THE ROC finish line

ENTRY FEE: £20 with £5 of your entry going the MOVE Against Cancer charity.

MOVE provide practical and online support to people living with and beyond cancer. MOVE focus their services on children and young people living with and beyond cancer and also a wider age range through their 5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer initiative linked to parkrun.
