THE ROC WALES takes place on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September 2021.
It’s 115km in total. Abersoch Beach to the summit of Snowdon and back.

The race starts each day at 8am on Abersoch Beach, near the cafe to the right of the slip ramp in the middle of Abersoch’s main beach (bottom of Golf Road).
It is hosted by BBC Radio 6 presenter Chris Hawkins and starts with ROC athletes running into the sea for a 1.5km swim with a course that stretches alongside the beach to the yacht club (SCYC) and back.
Between 8:20am – 9:00am: They then head off on bike out of Abersoch
Between 9:40am – 11:00am: THE ROC athletes will reach Nant Gwynant where they will rack their bikes and head up The Watkin Path on foot.
Between 10:40am – 12:45pm athletes will reach the summit of Snowdon at the turnaround marker on the south side of the cafe (if you can be there to support them you’re a legend!)
Between 11:15am – 2:45pm ROC athletes will arrive back down at Nant Gwynant to collect their bikes and head back to Abersoch
12:30pm Be ready on Abersoch Beach for the first ROC athletes to do the 1km beach run to the finish.
12:30pm – 5:00pm all competitors return to Abersoch and cross the finish.
5:00pm Prize giving.

Celebrate the end of an epic day with THE ROC After Party hosted at St Tudwals Inn, Abersoch. DJ sets from Tim Lyall, Chris Hawkins and ENDAF. With a BBQ for those needing to claw those calories back!

Tim has rocked huge crowds across the UK at Homelands, V-Festival, Wakestock and was the resident DJ at Superclub Slinky for 10 years.

Chris Hawkins is a BBC Radio 6 music presenter, performance DJ, reporter, journalist, producer, and music pundit. He is also MCing THE ROC.

Endaf’s past performances include VIP events such as the BAFTA Cymru Afterparty, Gottwood Festival, Manchester International Festival, Risin Sound Berlin, Welsh Sports Awards, Swansea Fringe Festival and a live session at BBC Maida Vale studios.

Starts 7:30pm and finishes 11:30pm and tickets are £5 each
