Learn Welsh
The stunning village of Abersoch is based in a predominantly Welsh speaking area of Wales, the Llyn Peninsula. Whilst all those who help to produce THE ROC actively support and are endeavouring to grasp the language and learn Welsh, the resources are such that it isn’t possible to make this website bi-lingual. If you wish to learn Welsh as a second language or just to find out a bit more about the oldest living Celtic language in the UK and amongst the oldest surviving in Europe, here are a few sites that may be of interest. With over half a million of the Welsh population speaking the Welsh language, these numbers will only continue to rise with many educational private and public schools now teaching the Welsh language to children as young as 4 years old. Sensation Group highly recommend trying to learn Welsh and before you know it, you will be able to talk to some great local welsh speaking people who would be very proud to hear you try and give you the support to help you improve.
