In 2021, Georgie Freeman, Operational Manager at MOVE, took part in THE ROC. Here’s what she had to say:

“Abersoch is a truly fantastic setting for a race like this. Everything was really well organised and it was a beautiful day for it. The sea swim was fantastic with a big cheer coming out of the water! A brilliant and fast cycle course and you can almost hardly believe it when you’ve made it to the foot of snowdon! The Watkin Path is an adventure in itself, everyone I spoke to after said the same thing as me, you get to a point and look up and realise you’ve got to go up there! Wow, such spectacular views! Just a ‘quick’ cycle back, legs are definitely feeling it now, and then the final 1k run along the beach is just a perfect victory lap finish. I would 100% recommend this to anyone- what a journey and what an adventure. It was really special for me to take part especially as THE ROC supports MOVE Charity, all the awareness over the weekend and all the funds raised will help us to support and inspire more and more people to Move Against Cancer- thank you so much to THE ROC!”
