
We’re delighted to announce our charity partnership with @Movecharity. MOVE Charity is embarking on a mission to support and inspire more and more people to Move Against Cancer. Founded by International runner Gemma Hillier-Moses, who was diagnosed with cancer at 24 and Lucy Gossage, Oncologist and 12 times Ironman Champion, we are working with MOVE to raise funds and awareness for those living with cancer and beyond, encouraging them to stay active.
FUNDRAISE FOR MOVE
As part of our partnership with MOVE, we’re offering 5 FREE fundraising places for THE ROC 2022 races. Athletes will be asked to raise a minimum of £1,200 for MOVE charity. If you would like to fundraise for MOVE, please email fundraising@movecharity.org with your details.

MOVE BEACH TORCHLIGHT
100% of the entry fee goes to the MOVE Against Cancer Charity and we want as many of you to take part in this fantastic feel good race and support this truly worthy cause.
Taking place at 9pm on Friday 2nd Sept on Abersoch beach, when the sun has set, we’re planning to light up this stunning stretch of shoreline.
Bring your torches, glowsticks, anything that will light you and the beach up, this will be a feel good 2.5km run to the far end of the beach and back.
MOVE’s MISSION
Our mission at MOVE Charity is to support and inspire more and more people to Move Against Cancer.
Our key areas of work are:
MOVE Online 8 week virtual support Programme: This programme is for anyone aged 13-30 diagnosed with cancer and is designed and delivered by MOVE Level 4 Cancer Rehab Specialists.
5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer Groups: 5K Your Way, Move Against Cancer is a community-based initiative to encourage those living with and beyond cancer, their families and friends, and those working in cancer services to walk, jog, run, cheer or volunteer at a local 5K Your Way group at designated parkrun events on the last Saturday of every month.
Move Your Way Resources: These include: Blogs, Move Your Way sessions, 5k Your Way YouTube Channel, Workshops, Move Against Cancer Podcast, useful links.
